Landscape photography

I have been using mainly Pentax 6x7 equipment of which I have the following:

• two 6x7 bodies
• lenses 4/55 mm, 2,8/90 mm, 4/135 mm macro, 4/300 mm, and 2x extender
• TTL-viewfinders, extension rings, and adapter K, that enables fitting lenses to K bayonet

I am satisfied with picture quality and I can get pin-sharp pictures at 1/30 s with handheld camera. The Pentax 6x7 is really excellent for taking landscape pictures if you know how to handle it.

I have also a Linhof Technika, but I can recommend it only for those who can carry a backpack of 50 pounds or more.

I have used some 35 mm bodies also like Pentax ME Super and K-1000 and I think that only the latter fully mechanical body is worth taking with you to Lapland. OK I have finally bought an autofocus camera, the Pentax Z 1, and I will admit that you can take great pictures with it in fine weather. But the weather is not always fine in Lapland. Pictures taken with the PZ 1 can be seen on the Home Page and on the first additional page of pictures. It was a wonderful summer last year.
